There is often a common misconception that agility and change of direction training involves simple static drills and exercises. True agility training can be divided into four segments: the physical qualities, the strategies the athlete selects, the technical qualities and the cognitive functions of agility. In this episode, Coach Young discusses each of these four segments and displays how they can be practised and assessed in your training sessions.
